The king of summer


The black version of the Mojito is much more aromatic and complex than the classic one, with mint and licorice chasing each other in a succession of pungent aromas.

The Black Mojito is gaining great fame also thanks to its characteristic dark color, tending to black. Many bars serve it along with a licorice straw.

Here is the recipe:

4 cl white rum
3 cl lime juice
1 cl licorice liqueur
3 mint sprouts
2 teaspoons of sugar
soda water

Crush the mint leaves with the sugar and lime juice. First add the licorice, then add the rum, the ice berries and finally top up with soda water. Garnish with mint sprouts and serve with a straw.
